2025 Applications will be available December 6 to obtain, fill out & submit.

Booths are approximately 10 x 10 ft. bare space. Vendors are responsible for their booth to be attractive to customers. Booths should not have backs exceed 6 feet high and sides cannot exceed 3 feet high, unless approved by our committee. The number of booths available per vendor is at the discretion of the Sookarama committee. The placement of the booths will be to enhance the overall show.

Entry Cost is $120.00 per booth, or $ 95.00 for early registration if paid before February 28, 2024.

Payment may be made by cheque, made out to the Sooke Lions, or by e-transfer to sookelionsmd19@gmail.com, question is ‘what is the Lions Club color’ – answer is ‘burgundy’, or by credit card for which you should phone us at 778-535-2326 to complete.

A limited number of booths will have power available for them. There will be music & entertainment playing throughout the day for family & kids to enjoy. This is a great opportunity to promote your business with posters, photos, videos, etc. & personally talking with the public about what you do. You will also be supporting the Sooke Lions Club in all our community-based events.

Vendors are encouraged to have free draws at their booth to attract customers. Start planning now for this opportunity to expand the awareness of your business.

Rules

  • Vendors may begin setting up their booth on Saturday at 7:30 am.
  • Booths may be open for sales from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
  • After setup, vendors are to park their vehicles at the Sooke River Campground. There will be a shuttle from 9–10:30 am and 2:30–4 pm to bring you back and forth from the campground. This will allow more parking for visitors, a benefit for all.
  • Vendors are requested to not start taking down their booths before 2:30 pm.
  • Vendors agree to follow all rules and be responsible for their staff.
  • Only legal businesses with District of Sooke business licenses, if applicable, and following regulations of their industry are permitted.
  • Vendors must follow the venue rules of the Capital Regional District.
  • No alcohol, drugs, tobacco or vape products may be sold, advertised or consumed on the property.
  • Vendors must keep promotional apparatus to a low noise level to not interfere with adjacent displays.
  • Vendors are encouraged to have product draws to attract people to their booth.
  • There will be food available at a Lions concession outside and possibly a Food Truck.
  • No pets allowed in the arena except service dogs.
