The Sooke Lions Club & The District of Sooke sponsor & organize this yearly family oriented event. The kids fun starts at Evergreen Mall about 4 pm with The Sooke Lions & EMCS Leadership Group serving Hot Chocolate, Hot Dogs & Homemade Cookies both before & after the parade. We will also be taking photos with the kids & Santa until 430 when Santa goes to join the parade. The EMCS group is also hosting a Christmas Craft Table & have arranged for Children Choirs to entertain prior to the parade arriving at the mall.
The parade starts at 5 pm from Sooke Elementary, travels along Sooke Rd & disperses up Townsend Rd. where the walking participants will fall out & the floats & vehicles will proceed up to Wadams Way & disperse. After the Parade there will be more family Santa Christmas festivities back at Evergreen Mall until about 6:30 pm.
